A man was detained last week and charged with the stabbing of a boxer dog in Hialeah, Florida, on September 13.
As outlined by the Police, surveillance video captured the individual, 39-year-old Jose Cespedes, strolling in front of the residence in which the dog lived. The Boxer began barking as Cespedes strolled alongside the fence of the yard.
Police said Cespedes continued walking without showing any worry and then stabbed the dog in the shoulder with a knife. The dog’s owner came across the stabbing on the surveillance video and as soon as she went to face the stabber, he fled, according to Hialeah Police.
The Boxer dog apparently sustained a serious injury that needed surgery and stitching, in accordance to the police report.
The dog’s owner selected Cespedes from a lineup “without doubt,” and he was imprisoned. Cespedes said to police that he didn’t have anything at all to do with the stabbing.
