An individual posted this video 6 days after his beloved Boxer dog died from DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy).

This is a video journal showing his last 8 weeks from a day after the initial diagnosis till the day before the last.

The video begins and ends with the cough which is an indication of CHF (congestive heart failure) and DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy).

This 8 weeks were happy. The dog had lost a lot of weight as you can observe through the slackness of his harness however he did commence to gain back weight when the treatment really started working.

DCM is not curable… however the drugs that were prescribed by the vet, Vetmedin 5mg and Fruscare 40mg, really worked.

On many days during the 8 week period between the diagnosis and the last traumatic 12 hours he hardly looked like ill and was truly happy.
