In answer to your question, there are 6 boxers here at the moment, Just one is mine, however, I’m a foster mom for boxer rescue!
Currently I have no boxer. I had one. Had her for almost 12 years. Her name was Mollie. She was a white boxer. And I’ve never been more in love with a dog, like I was with her. I want to get another. Mollie passed in her sleep in Oct. Of 2012. Some times when I think of her I still cry because I miss her so very much. I adopted her from a rescue shelter. When I met her I heard about her history. She spent the first year of her life in a small dog run with her mom. She didn’t know what doggie toys were for, didn’t know what to do with a tennis ball. Was scared of every thing in our home when I got her home. And my hart broke when I realized all that she must have gone through. She had been starved, hit with sticks, and kicked. After a time this shy abused girl turned into the most loving kind creature. I miss my Mollie. I miss having a boxer. They are such silly wounderful loving animals. I will have another one. When I find another that I connect with, like I did with Mollie. For those of you who have a boxer, I hope you know you have one of the best dogs on the face of the planet.
