A young boxer mix found under nourished, paralyzed and suffering on the streets of Mexico was named “Thor” by a rescuer who think he was a superhero.
As Thor carried on an incredible recuperation in Los Angeles this month, his name was proving to have been appropriately chosen. His rescuers have been bowled over by his persistence to live, and his passion for his human caretakers.
The Mutt Scouts, a Los Angeles-based dog rescue, brought Thor for significant medical treatment in Southern California, where he was being re-trained to walk at Two Hands Four Paws. He has as well received treatment at Echo Park Vet Hospital.
“We’ve learned … about humility, tenacity, kindness and just the joy of the moment from this kid,” mentioned Jf Pryor of the Mutt Scouts.
